Note: Use a desktop PC or MAC for easier setup.
1. Make sure you are setup with an active account with with Stripe Payments. Use https://stripe.com If you are not setup with an account, then create one and make note of your user name and password for future reference.
2. Go to: https://dashboard.stripe.com/apikeys
3. Make sure to make note of these two important items:
- Publishable key
- Secret key
Note: As of September 2025, you can create a restricted api key with the default permissions. That will work fine for the api key.
You will then use them on the auction website settings to allow access for payments via Stripe Payments.
